He concluded his career at Ferris with the GSL MVP award as well as All-GSL First Team, NSCAA All-Far West First Team honors along with a 4A State championship. Kevin Moon - Head Coach, Women's First Team

The highly regarded USSF National A Licensed coach is the only member of the club's staff that dates back to the initial years of the Shadow youth program in 2001, and has been a vital part of the club's success in helping guide young athletes into the collegiate ranks serving as the club's collegiate advisor for many years.

The Whitworth graduate helped lead the Pirates to three conference titles during his playing career (1988-91) at the school and has often been a part of the soccer coaching staff, serving as a men's assistant on two occasions and, most recently, as a women's soccer assistant (1992-96, 2001, 2010-15). His playing career also included a brief stint with the Shadow men's side during its provisional 1995 season prior to joining USL's Premier Development League.

In addition to coaching with the Spokane Shadow and as an assistant at Whitworth, Moon has also been providing academy and camp training sessions since 1997, which later developed into the Spokane Soccer Academy, one of the area's most successful training programs since its founding in 2002.

Jael Hagerott - Assistant Coach, Women's First Team

Daman Hagerott - Assistant Coach, Women's First Team

Cameron Bushey - Head Coach, Men's First Team

Named the new head coach in March of 2017, the Whitworth product has been a youth coach in the club since 2009 with the exception of a three-year stint at famed Colorado Rush, where he also served as Director of Coaching and assistant coach for the club's W-League team. Bushey also grew up playing youth soccer at both clubs, which have family connections.

The Bushey name will be familiar to soccer fans in the area as his father, Sean, served in the same role for the Shadow from 1997-1999, leading the team to the PDL Final in 1999. Like his father, Cameron Bushey will serve as the second head coach for the new era of the Shadow men's team.
