Annie Pokorny won the "collegiate cup" as the top female college athlete at the U.S. National Cross Country Skiing Championship Jan. 8 at Soldier Hollow, UT.  Pokorney competed for our Shadow Girls ’93 Premier soccer team for several years prior to her decision to focus on skiiing, spending many evenings at soccer practice and then heading to Mt. Spokane for cross country skiing training.  Annie is a sophomore at Middlebury College and has qualified to ski for the U.S. at the World U-23 championships in Liberic, Czech Republic, in late January.  Congratulations and good luck, Annie!
