19 SSC Shadow Players Announce College Soccer Commitments

Spokane Soccer Club Shadow is proud to announce 19 premier Regional Club League soccer players, who will graduate in Spring, 2013, have Hailie McCluremade college soccer commitments:

“We congratulate these players on their future college soccer decisions and await the others in this class who are still making decisions.  They are shining examples of hard work and dedication.” said Shadow Technical Director Sean Bushéy.  “The first and most important step in the college selection process is finding the right academic fit.  For those that desire a collegiate athletic experience, finding a fit for soccer is secondary.  We are very proud of the work our players put forth in the classroom and on the soccer field.  And, we honor the parental support they have received through their years soccer development.”

SSC Shadow’s Class of 2013 girl’s teams participate in Division 2 of the Washington Youth Soccer Regional Club League and have won notable tournaments over their years of club soccer.  Most recently, the Girls ’94 U18-Philp team, coached by Dan Philp, won the 2012 Pleasanton Rage Showcase and were 2012 Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup Semi-finalists.  Coached by Kevin Moon, the Girls ’94 U18-Moon team won the 2012 Washington Youth Soccer Challenge Cup and went on to a Semi-Final finish at the 2012 Region IV President’s Cup in Denver last June.

Several players were honored with All-Conference and All-State honors for their contributions to fall, 2012 area high school girls soccer.
